Our Viking drinking horns are hand made from cleaned and polished cow horns. They are supplied unlined and are safe
to drink from.

Horn Finials
To fit a horn finial you should first
file down the end of the horn to get a good fit. The finial can then
be fixed in place using epoxy resin or copper rivets.

Custom Made Drinking Horns
|
Have a drinking horn custom made to your own specifications by following these steps:
- Decide whether you want a small, medium or large drinking horn and then use the appropriate box.
- If required, select a horn finial.
- If required, select a horn rim.
- If you selected a rim with runes, then enter the characters that you want to be stamped on the rim.
We will translate these into runes (elder futhark).
Do not enter more than the following numbers of characters (including spaces) -
Small horns [15], medium horns [19], large horns [24].
Note: Numbers will be translated into Roman numerals, please account for this when calculating the number of characters
(e.g. 8 will become VIII, which is 4 characters). No exclamation marks or other non-translatable characters please!
(Only . and : is allowed).
If you do not enter any characters then we will use the FUTHARK sequence of runes, a common magical incription.
- If required, select a belt hanger or shoulder strap.
- If you selected a belt hanger or shoulder strap, then select the colour that you require.

Our drinking horns are supplied unlined, so a slight horn taste may be present at first. This will lessen after use.
Using the horn for hot drinks is not recommended as this will
increase the horn taste. This is a natural product, so shapes, sizes and colours will vary.
