WEAVING TABLETS
Tablet weaving is the technique employed by Viking women to make the elaborately decorated braids which adorn Viking tunics
and other items of Viking clothing.

Small bone weaving tablets, handmade from bone, width 32mm, 1 1/4 inches, thickness 4mm tapering to 1.5mm at each edge and 0.5mm at each corner.
Each tablet has been carefully shaped into a lenticular form which makes it far smoother and easier to use than a flat, square-edged tablet.
Suitable for silk, linen and thin wool. Set of 10.
